Don’t be fooled by his infectious laugh—Sean Gotcher knows how to go from charmer to poker face when it comes to representing the best interests of his clients. A Texas native, Sean studied Business Real Estate on a full scholarship at the University of Nevada before relocating to California at the ripe age of twenty-one. To pave the way for a fruitful career in luxury real estate, Sean decided to take an executive assistant role for a top-producing agent. Doing this enabled him to manage somebody else’s clients before obtaining his own, as well as develop his skill set and build confidence—both priorities for Sean. In the first year alone, he helped the Hollywood Hills brokerage handle over 75 million in property sales. Over the next few years, Sean shifted into becoming a buyers agent for a multi-million dollar team focusing on remodels, redevelopment and new construction. This experience would end up translating perfectly into Sean’s next move: joining The Agency Beverly Hills in 2014, a personal milestone as he was now completely in the driver’s seat. After 12 years in LA Sean, is back in Las Vegas. For Sean Las Vegas has been the only place that ever truly felt like home. Ask Sean what he considers to be the most enjoyable part of being an agent and he would reply, “the process of looking for the right home for a client”. His genuine fascination with what people recognize in a home, and what they attach value to, has stuck with him ever since insisting on attending open houses as an adolescent. Two people can walk into the same house and have completely different reactions. These outings also exposed Sean to how agents and their clients can better communicate and interact with one another. For Sean, finding the perfect home for a client goes well beyond brick and mortar; it’s about finding that one special place that will harbor all the amazing memories to come. For his clients in Europe, Sean stays in constant communication, often setting an alarm in the middle of the night in order to accommodate the time change, as he views the ability to communicate as paramount to building successful client relations and getting a deal done. For Sean, the arrival of weekends is enthusiastically met with outdoor activities in the afternoon hours followed by dinner parties and game night with friends.
